For the 21st year in a row, members of the South Plains Chapter of the Texas Air Conditioning Contractors Association (TACCA-SP) have joined together on an annual project called “Heat the Town” to assist those who need a safe way to stay warm.
Friends of Camp Mary White, Inc. provides girls and women rustic outdoor experiences which foster confidence, independence, and leadership. The camp, located near Cloudcroft, New Mexico, will be celebrating 95 years in 2022.

Even though the West Texas youth housing facility has opened its doors to females many years ago, the organization announced Monday that they have changed their logo and name, now to “Texas Girls and Boys Ranch.”

CASA of the South Plains announces the return of its annual IMPACT! event. Historically a luncheon, this fall the CASA’s IMPACT! celebration will be a Gala & Online Auction. The Gala will be Thursday, October 21, at 6:00pm at the Willows Event Center, and the online auction will open for bidding the week prior, on October 15.
Hub City Comic Con is returning to Lubbock after two years on Sept. 3-5, 2021 at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. There will be a star-studded cast of celebrity guests ranging from anime voice actors to actors in fan-favorites movies.
